This national program introduces children 9 - 14 to physical fitness through basic track and field events, encouraging them to be the best they possibly can. Buffalo Grove Park District is hosting a local meet at the Buffalo Grove High School track. Winners of each event in each age group will advance to the state meet, with the possibility of attending the national meet. Participants must fill out a local meet entry form, which can be downloaded at bgparks.org (on the Hershey Track and Field page in the events section) and your child may participate in up to 3 events (not all running) as listed on the registration form.
